Club Barbecue

Saturday 10th August 2013 - 2.00pm

It's barbecue time again! The club barbecue is open to club members and their families.

Bring a side dish and your own drink. Please email the Gaffer to let her know:

• What side dish/salad you are bringing.
• How many people will be in your group.
• What meat option you prefer (sausages/burgers/chicken/vegetarian)

In return, the Gaffer will give you the location!

General Club Meeting

Thursday 22nd August 2013 - 7.30pm

The meeting will be held at the Gaffers house with a trip to the pub after.

Please forward items for the agenda to the Gaffer.

Meet the Junior Team!

Say hello to our junior race team in their Royal Greenwich race kit:

India, Laura, Matthew, Mannie, Joe, Jack, Charlie - Team LEC

James and Tom - guest riders for the London Youth Games.

They are taking part in their debut race this coming Saturday 6th July at Crystal Palace.

Youth A/B ITT 9.30 - 11.30am

Youth C/D/E ITT 12.30 - 2.30pm

Road Race Male 2.45pm

Road Race Female 2.30pm

We will be holding a club picnic at lunch time. Please come and show your support in their first ever race.

This Weekend's Activities

The Great Get Together

Saturday 29th June 11.00am - 6.00pm 

Royal Artillery Barracks Field, Repository Road, Woolwich, SE18 4BB

The club will be running activities in Arena 2 at the Great Get Together. There will be a Skills Challenge and Slow Races. With slow races also in the main arena.

There will also be crazy bikes sharing our arena. Try one on the Skills Challenge.

There will be no Kids Club or Fit Camp at the park.

The Great Kent Ride

Sunday 30th June - meet at 8.00am for an 8.30am depart.

North Park, Tannery Lane, Ashford, Kent, TN23 1PL

Choice of 60 miles or 35 miles through circular ride through Kent countryside. All start as a team and ride to the route split together.

Over 16 only on the long route.

Saturday 6th July - London Youth Games at Crystal Palace and Club Picnic - the debut race for our Junior Team. Individual time trials and 6 lap bunch race. Racing starts at 9.30am. 

Please come and support our young racers. Lets get someone cheering on every bend! Bring a picnic for a club picnic in the park.

Free Bike Security Marking

This Saturday, 22nd June, the Greenwich Safer Transport Team will be visiting us at Eltham Park South, Glenesk Road, Eltham, SE9, to do free bike security marking.

They will be available between 11.00am and 3.00pm.

Please tell anyone you know that has a bike!

The afternoon Fit Camp will be an inclusive Skills Challenge for all ages and abilities, open to all!

There will be no Fit Camp on Saturday 8th June. Kids Club and Junior Team as normal.

Ali now has the size samples for the new club kit. She will be bringing it to the park on Sunday for people to try on before buying kit.
